First of all, the relationship between God the Father and Jesus Christ did not start when Jesus first came on earth. Hebrews 5:7 - "During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission."

In the part 2 of this post, I will show that Jesus did claim to be God, had the attributes of God, accepted worship that is due only to God, and that Jesus was the fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecies of God coming to Israel.
